The Legbars of Broadway business has been built on trust between us and our customers. To preserve the confidentiality of all information you provide to us:

  • We will only collect information that we believe to be relevant and required to understand the customer’s needs and to conduct our business.
  • We will use customer information to provide customers with better customer service.
  • We will not disclose customer information to any external organisation, or person, unless we have customer consent.

Under Article 17 of the GDPR you have the right to have your personal data erased, if you consider we no longer require it for the purpose it was obtained.

If you would like your details removing from our databases, then we will require a signed letter requesting us to delete them. We will have one month to respond to your request.

Due to our legal obligations to the HMRC, we are required to keep records for a minimum of 5 years. This includes all orders, delivery notes, sales lists, and invoices.  These documents are archived in a lockable unit for the purposes of audit only.

We are also required by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), for the purposes of The Diseases of Poultry (England) Order 2003, to keep a record relating to the movement of poultry and eggs onto, and off premises, for a period of 12 months.

Our security is provided by the PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) Certificate providers – Security Metrics, and Trusteer Security Rapport to help prevent malware and phishing attacks that are the root cause of most financial fraud. Additional protection is provided by Kaspersky Lab UK.

Please note that email correspondence with us is in free format text and cannot be encrypted. Accordingly please do not send any sensitive information such as credit card details or passwords via email.

Our website may contain links to other websites which are outside our control and are not covered by this Privacy Policy or our Cookie Policy. If you access other sites using the links provided, the operators of these sites may collect information from you which will be used by them in accordance with their privacy policy, which may differ from ours.
